Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last Updated: March 4, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of ProPilot ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.
1. Purpose
This AUP ensures that ProPilot is used safely, lawfully, and in a manner that maintains the integrity of our platform, messaging systems, and data infrastructure.
2. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use ProPilot to engage in any of the following activities:
2.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Send fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading messages or representations
- Interfere with property transactions or impersonate another individual
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any individual
2.2 SMS and Communication Requirements
Before SMS is enabled, ProPilot places an automated voice consent call to the listing agent contact number publicly provided on the specific property listing. The recipient hears: "This is an automated message from ProPilot. An investor is interested in your listing at [Property Address]. Press 1 to receive this inquiry via SMS, Press 2 to decline. You can reply STOP to any message to opt out."
SMS is enabled only when consent is captured through voice call keypress (Press 1). If Press 2 is captured, or consent is not captured, SMS remains blocked and no SMS is sent. No SMS is sent without a recorded Press 1 consent event.
This recipient-facing consent flow uses a fixed scripted automated voice call and touch-tone keypress input only. It is not a live AI conversation, and AI does not make consent or messaging eligibility decisions in this flow.
You may not:
- Send SMS messages without a lawful basis and legitimate business purpose
- Conduct spam or bulk messaging
- Send prohibited content under TCPA, CTIA, or carrier guidelines
- Bypass STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE requests
- Resend messages to recipients who have opted out
- Use misleading sender identity or misrepresent your business affiliation
- Attempt to manipulate or evade SMS compliance controls
ProPilot may monitor SMS activity for compliance purposes.
2.3 Platform Misuse
You may not:
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or messaging limits
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, automation scripts, or unauthorized tools
- Reverse engineer, duplicate, or recreate proprietary algorithms or workflows
- Access or attempt to access restricted areas of the Service
- Share accounts, passwords, or authentication credentials
2.4 Data Extraction and Competitive Misuse
Strictly prohibited:
- Scraping, harvesting, exporting, or copying data from the platform
- Building or training a competing service, AI model, dataset, or automation system using ProPilot
- Downloading, storing, or aggregating data beyond what the platform explicitly allows
- Using ProPilot to construct a CRM, contact database, or property data repository outside the Service
2.5 Security Violations
You may not:
- Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service
